We are slowly working to re-open our studio and adapting to a new normal, adopting ‘best practices’ to protect the health & wellness of our visitors and staff.
What you’ll notice at Hot Shop Glass…. our Gallery is open every Saturday 10am-4pm. You are welcome to stop in and watch the action we just ask that you follow social distancing here and practice respiratory etiquette (ie, wear a mask – we have them for you to wear if it’s not your norm). We routinely sanitize public areas & surfaces.
Our Glass Fusing Studio is now open! But now it is by reservation only so that we can comply with social distancing guidelines and have adequate time between guest to clean surfaces and tools. So how does it work? We have reservations times on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Ages 8 and older (with an accompanying adult) can create in this new studio. Check out the Glass Fusing section of our website for more details, project ideas and cost.
Hot glass classes began July 7th. And guess what? We’ve launched a new on-line registration system that should streamline that whole process. For those not so tech savvy, we still like to chat on the phone, so you can always call us or stop in.
Pumpkin time! Yes, registration is open and workshops for the popular Pumpkin begin August 15th….
We’ve made adjustments to how our classes are offered, you’ll notice that in the class section of our website. The classes are now much smaller now –4 students to 2 instructors (rather than 8-10), keeping the class size small means classes are shorter, you won’t have as much ‘down’ time and we won’t have a crowded studio. If you have a group that is larger than 4, we’d be happy to accommodate you. Please call us for registration of larger than 4 person groups.
