Book a Class
At Hot Shop Glass, the health, safety, and well-being of our guests & staff has always been –& continues to be –of the utmost importance to us. Following new guidelines from the CDC and local health officials, un-vaccinated visitors are required to wear masks while in our facility. For vaccinated guests, masks are optional. Complimentary masks are available at our entrance. If you cannot wear a mask and are not vaccinated, please postpone your visit until CDC recommendations change. Our commitment to the health & safety of our staff & all of our guests is unwavering.
We’ve made adjustments to how our classes are offered since our re-opening in July of 2020. The classes are now much smaller now –4 students to 2 instructors (rather than 8-10). Keeping the class size small means classes are shorter, you won’t have as much ‘down’ time and we won’t have a crowded studio. If you have a group that is larger than 4 and are ok co-mingling, we’d be happy to accommodate you during a 3pm class session, or book two sessions back to back for groups of 8 people. Please call us or email us so we know your group is all together, or if you need us to open up seats in a 3pm class.
You can register for classes by simply clicking the link at the top of this page! For those not so tech savvy, we still like to chat on the phone, so you can always call us or stop in. For those who have gift certificates to redeem, you’ll still have to call us. We have not integrated our on-line and old fashioned gift certificates with the new booking program. Someday! But until then, call us! Thanks!

Want creative fun but our glass blowing is full? Check out our glass fusing studio!
We teach classes year round, and it’s no surprise that glass blowing classes in our hot shop are busiest when it’s cold outside! Most people start with our Explore Glass Workshop or other specialty beginner classes (hearts, bowls cactus or pumpkins) – some take many of these multiple times. For those who really want to learn & become skilled glass artisans, we offer our Glass 1 Class a few times a year in the winter or fall. Unfortunately due to covid we are not currently scheduling our Glass 1 Class. We do have a list of interested students on file at our facility. Call or email us if you’d like to be added to that contact list — you’ll be the first to know when we do resume this class offering.
Private classes are designed for experienced glass students, or those wishing to do the Glass 1 Class curriculum, but unable to fit it in their schedule. These private classes are offered during the day on Tuesdays or Thursdays only.
Due to the demand for classes and small class size, payment for classes is due at time of reservation!
OUR CANCELLATION POLICY : You may reschedule your session or receive a credit if you give us at least two weeks notice.* This includes a reduction in the number of people in your group. We will offer you a refund only if we can fill the space with a student on our waiting list. Because of the nature of our business and small class sizes we are unable to guarantee refunds or offer rescheduling with less than one week notice. Thank you for your understanding.
*COVID-19: We are doing everything we can to keep ourselves, our staff & visitors virus-free! If you, or someone you have had close contact with, has COVID-19 symptoms, OR ARE AWAITING TEST RESULTS, please contact us to reschedule your class. If you are concerned about rising case numbers and do not feel safe participating in a workshop, please contact us so we can reschedule your class. The more notice you can give us, the better, but with that said we understand that may not be possible. Call us: 262-833-0095 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
