Our Studio
Glass Blowing Facility
Our spacious well lit studio features a 300lb Stadlemen electric furnace melting PWV 96 glass from Spruce Pine Batch. We have two glory holes (10" & 14" ) and acompanying benches, a 6'x3'x3' front loading annealler, pipe warmer, bit box, hot plates, several marvers, Steinert pipes & punties, Jim Moore tools and a variety of blocks for student/renter use.
Glass Fusing Facility
A fabulous selection of COE 96 glass in all it's forms awaits! All colored glass in sheet, frit, many stringers, some murrine and 6 colors of vitrograph is free to use as part of project pricing! Our large fusing kiln allows for nice size garden art and 6 varieties of molds are available for slumped forms.
